Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information OUTTA RENTALS collects when you use this website or send us a request, and how that information is used, stored and protected.
1. Information we collect
Contact and project details you send us — such as your name, email, phone number, project details, shoot dates and location — when you send a kit request or use the contact or consultation forms. These are sent to OUTTA as a WhatsApp message that you review and send yourself.
Kit information — the equipment and dates you select while browsing, stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so your kit persists between visits. This is not sent to us unless you choose to send your kit on WhatsApp.
Technical information — standard web request data (such as IP address and browser type) collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and performance purposes.
2. How we use it
To respond to kit requests and enquiries, and to prepare and manage rental agreements.
To communicate with you about a booking, including by WhatsApp or email if you've provided those details.
To improve this website's reliability and content — we do not sell your information or use it for third-party advertising.
3. Where information is stored
Requests and enquiries reach us through WhatsApp, and are held in our WhatsApp account and any booking records we keep for your rental. WhatsApp is operated by Meta and its own privacy policy applies to messages sent through it. Kit selections stay in your browser's local storage and are never transmitted to us unless you actively send them.
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your personal information. It may be shared with service providers who help us operate the website and process bookings (such as our hosting provider and WhatsApp), under obligations to keep it confidential, or where required by law.
5. Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete records that aren't required for an active or completed rental agreement. Contact us using the details on the Contact page to make a request.
6. Cookies and local storage
This site uses browser local storage to remember your kit selection between visits. We don't currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices evolve. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
